Adventure News November 16

Hello everyone,
Please make sure you pick up this week's issue of Adventure News in your child's parent folder. Fine Arts Night is November 23. Children should arrive at 5:40 and will wait in our classroom until time to perform.Please help your child memorize their lines if at all possible. The Bake Sale will also be in our classroom so you can drop off any goodies. These can be homemade since it is after school hours. As of now, you will be able to pick up your child in the atrium area after the performance and then check out the Middle School Art and Museum displays. We will display the Cereal Box Book Reports in our classroom and then do our commercials the week of November 30. It seems the students came up with creative ideas. I can't wait to see them and show them off!

Oops! I was so excited about creating our blog I forgot to post our new lists on Spelling City. They are now ready for you to use. I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

I also have some additional information about our Satori Thanksgiving Feast. Valerie's class and our class will bring sliced turkey (cold cuts), sliced cheese, or canned cranberry sauce. This is a family event so bring the entire family. The luncheon will be 11:30-12:45 p.m. I'll find out if we have a specific time slot for our class. The students are dismissed at 12:45 p.m. that day to get an early start for their holiday. It sounds like it will be wonderful time. Please check our Adventure News for additional information.

Welcome to Mrs. D's 2nd/3rd Satori Explorers blog! This old dog is still trying to learn new tricks so we will try to implement this blog and see how it goes. Eventually, we will have our class website up and running. In the meantime, we can use this blog to meet several of our needs. I will start posting some of the links I list in the Weekly Assignments so you don't have to type in the lengthy addresses. The blog is pretty basic at the moment, but I will dress it up as I have time.
